ELIZABETH WONG
Hello, I'm Elizabeth! I am excited to share my journey in leadership and science through my portfolio. This collection showcases some of my achievements and skills I have developed throughout my experiences. Feel free to explore and follow along with my journey!

About Me
Hi! I am Elizabeth Wong, a Primary 6 student at Methodist Girls’ School. I love coding, robotics and serving my community. I believe that each of us can make a difference, that even the smallest ripple can make waves! I hope to do so through science and serving others.

My two passions for science and leadership stem from my deep interest in figuring out how things work and finding solutions. I represented Singapore in international coding and robotics competitions, as well as won an award for my invention in the Singapore Invention Convention 2024. I feel that science and innovation can address the challenges we face, whether through advancements in technology, medicine, or environmental sustainability. Each experiment is a discovery process that helps to make sense of how things work in the mysterious puzzle of life.

I am grateful to serve as the Lee House Captain in my school. I came up with several student-led initiatives such as a House Mascots contest for the four Houses. Outside school, I find great purpose in actively serving my community through fundraising and volunteering, and was one of ten shortlisted youth volunteers to represent Nanyang Community Centre at this year’s official launch of the Youth Charter by the government. Such opportunities to lead and serve have shown me that effective communication, seeing things from different angles and collaboration are key to empowering others and figuring out real-world solutions with creativity and empathy.
I am eager to continue developing my skills in both fields of science and leadership. I hope to keep being inspired to create positive changes to have a tangible and meaningful impact on our society.
